Indigo Autumn

I have learned, through painting, that I paint trees to represent relationships. This painting was done during a time that my brain was breaking open like an egg shell, cracked open, waiting for life to burst through. I was towards the end of a very intense depressed episode. Sometimes, mental illnesses help you shed past traumas quicker than if you never went through strong emotional turmoil. This painting is another alltime favorite of mine, and I hold it incredibly close to my heart.
